Taking a break... which I hate!

Last night, after a silly argument, Matt let me know he wants to take a 4 day break from talking. I really did not know what to say. Of course I do not want to not talk to him until Sunday night. However, he was given this suggestion by someone in his support group so I couldn't really say "hey babe do not listen to your support". That would have made me an awful person. So I just couldn't.

Now I am missing him so much and it is taking everything in me not to just message him and tell him that I absolutely hate this! I am trying to be strong.

Last night we had a fight and he texted me later, after I was apologizing, and said:

I think we need some actual time away from each other. You do what you have to do and I'll do what I have to do. I'll message you when I'm back in town Sunday night.

Are you serious? Wow. Ok Matt. No problem.

Yep. Have fun bashing me to your crew. Ttyl

Such a fucking joke

Ugh! Awful. So I called him and he came outside to chat with me. He was feeling some type of way because one of his friends said they heard he was acting crazy on sunday, which he was. He felt a betrayal by me though for having shared this information with the ladies. 

So I went over and he was in his frustrated 0-100 Matt mode. I remained calm and just told him I was sorry for upsetting him. Then he said something, i do not even remember what at this point, and i got in my car and I was going to leave. He said Amy if you leave then we are done. So of course I got out of the car. Then I hugged him and had him read, out loud, the card that I gave him a couple of weeks back. I was still in his arms and as he read it I could feel him become calm. 

Then he said something so meaningful. In a sweet voice he said "Amy no matter what we are going through, I will not give up on us". I got goosebumps and melted into his arms. 

We both said that we have tried to walk away from this, but we just can not do that. No matter what, we want each other and that is pretty incredible. I normally have absolutely no issue walking away and cutting people out! Not this man though. I love him with all of my heart and I do not plan to ever allow that to change!
